Community Shared Agriculture or CSA is a food system model where shareholders can support farmers by providing them with a steady income, while farmers can support the shareholders by growing fresh, local and organic food. To participate in a CSA, one would pay a price at the beginning of the season and pick up their share weekly or bi-weekly throughout the designated months at the farm or pick-up location.
